The Tri-County United Way has named Lauren Kolbe, co-owner and Senior Manager of Kolbeco Marketing Resources, as a Campaign Cabinet Member for its 2013 campaign. Lauren will be responsible for heading up the Leadership Giving Efforts for St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties. The overall Tri-County Campaign goal for 2013 is $3,179,327.
Lauren has been a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Society since 2010, and served on the Women’s Entrepreneur Cabinet from 2010-2011. She has been a member of the United Way Tri-County Auxiliary Board of Directors since 2011.
“Being a United Way Leadership giver has allowed me to have a greater impact in our community, and connect with professionals who are like minded, share my same values, and have a sincere interest in helping others – in business and in the community,” said Kolbe.
Leadership givers support United Way through an annual pledge of $1000 or more. This year as part of the Tri-County Campaign, Chair Mike Borgna, CFO of Data2 Corporation in St. Peters, included a focus on Leadership Giving. Kolbeco has devised the strategy and outreach plan for the leadership portion of the campaign, which included the first ever Tri-County Leadership Kickoff Event, and is working closely with Borgna and other Campaign Cabinet members on the execution of the strategy. In addition, KolbeCo has developed the logo and branding for the initiative, dubbed “Ignite Leadership” and designed invitations, banners and signage for the kickoff event, which was held on October 1 and hosted by Novus International in St. Charles.
